How to get to Monterey Bay from Palo Alto using public transportation? - monterey car

My friend and I decided to go to Monterey Bay this weekend to see the aquarium and everything and they have no car. Who knows how to get to the Monterey Bay, with public transportation in Palo Alto / Stanford, such as buses or Caltrain? Thank you!

I do not think there are trains, but perhaps on the bus. You probably will transfer to San Jose on Highway 17, the transfer to Santa Cruz, and then you're on your way. Check the schedule of bus routes and have fun, but are willing to spend much money in Monterrey. I suggest that when residing in Santa Cruz instead.
