PVC pipe and Copper pipe, which one is more vulnerable to freezing weather? - copper pipe good for freezing weather
The pipes in my place, or PVC, and copper, now the outside temperature is 22F, and of course one of my PVC pipe is frozen. I'm worried about the pipe to burst ... I think I once heard someone say that PVC pipe is actually stronger than copper and opportunities of the PVC pipe to burst is relatively low. I wonder if it's true that PVC pipes are less susceptible?

Often using PVC pipes for drainage and supply lines in copper.
If you do copper and PVC pipes with an inside diameter of which, right in the joints and water pressure is seated, the first wave of PVC, that the water freezes.
In a drainage situation there are a lot of air in the pipes - and thus provides a space for water to expand (it freezes). Therefore, there is much less risk of disruption of the PVC.
If the choice of pipes, today ... go with the new PEX pipes. Cheaper than copper and has a greater resistance than either PVC or copper, as can the (PEX), zoom in and out.
If you are in a situation, as regards the pipes are frozen, do the best to make quick rememdy situation (until the heat again) to the taps to a trickle on. Although water is in motion, you will have no problems.

PVC pipes will be a little more than copper. Can you thaw the pipe? Turn off the water outside, and use a hair dryer and then run the water through a faucet. Water power on
